Well I got my TV back:j Luckily.
Heck,where has Nick gone ? Looks like that person was right about company reps not being allowed on here. He did seem approachable too:(.
I put in a ticket querying why I get captchas for every search win & also after every 10 vids without fail. I had assumed everyone got this,but apparently not,so I'm gonna chase it up. Obviously I'll get fobbed off,but we'll see.
Glad to see everyone doing better & feeling chirpy today:T

Good luck milo... I always feel bad for you getting the short end of the very long stick, but a thought just occurred to me: do you have any referrals? Surely SB could eff up that part of its system, so it might actually work for you. Trick your friends and family!

I dare not ref anyone to sb anymore :-( I mentioned the sites to one friend and I signed her up to a few tamer survey ones etc then she asked about this and I said I was not sure it was for her as its spammy at times and she said she had an email for spam and so I gave her the link and in return got a gob full because her lappy got a virus and she thinks it was the sites. I dont think it was as I am yet to have any issues but :-(

I verified mine via email I think have they changed it? Maybe I did use mobile, they def never spammed me either way. Not had anything or I would know how they did it ha ha :-)

Eh, viruses come in all packages. You can't say for sure it wasn't SB, but you can't say for sure it wasn't in an email she opened or a site she accessed. Recommend your friend Avast antivirus - free and a great program, I've never had any problems with it. She could always just stick to searching and tasks and games - she could probably cash out £5 just doing them if given a bit of time.

Toria - You are not responsible for what your friend does on her laptop. If she's downloaded something that caused a virus then that is her fault.

Nick got removed as he was posting on behalf of swagbucks without MSE permission which is against the rules on MSE. I don't know who reported him but he's looking to get it sorted out and return.

Hope he does get it sorted out cally - I think his presence (even if only occasionally) would be useful

Reporting is a bit naff unless extreme circumstances are involved (like open abuse of another poster). Personally I said what I wanted openly 'to his face' and I'm sorry he has gone as he seemed genuine & prepared to fight his corner....a trait I like.
And you are right re toria......we are all adults & make choices on what to download. Maybe the friend got greedy & went for a dodgy site for the extra easy SBs. Totally her own choice.
