  • I think there's a strong case for using a vmware virtual pc, or some other sort of sandbox, when installing dodgy software, especially if it's your main computer.

Agreed. I run linux on my main rig and use a win xp VM for some of the SB stuff. Also have a low spec rig I threw together from spares for the downloads, and just reclone the HDD back to the fresh install state every so often when the malware gets out of control.
  • When i searched swagbucks on swagbucks the one advert at the top was a virus removal software :rotfl:

Fairly easy day for me today, after the daily poll and noso I did yesterday's ds, 2 rounds of sbtv and an 8sb search win (searched "Doctor Who"), just watching a couple of the videos on the home page to bring me to 90/90 then I'll be taking a break until tomorrow (unless any good offers appear on the offer walls)

31SBs for one of the offers mentioned on a previous page, thanks for that.

Thanks guys, on 342/90 now. Great day for me! Going to request another 2 x £5 Amazon today hopefully making £20 this month already - might even hold off for a £25 Paypal instead.

That froze for me, I just went back and then it told me off for going back and I pressed the arrow and it worked. Good luck!
