An will they take me hundreds of miles to central France in an hour for £8 all in?
Hardly the same thing.0 -
I think the idea ofindependent travel may be stressful for older people, if they're not used to it - particularly if they can't speak French!Bob_the_Saver wrote: »An will they take me hundreds of miles to central France in an hour for £8 all in?

Definitely go with the cruise idea...their every need will be catered for, they can spend their time at opposite ends of the liner if need be and I'm sure they'll make plenty of friends (separately).Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Thanks for all your help guys. I'll look into the companies suggested tomorrow. I'm thinking a cruise leaving from the UK would be best for them. No need to worry about flying and if they annoy the hell out of each other they can hide at opposite ends of the ship :T
They're not very keen on dressing up so a more informal cruise would probably be better. I'll let them decide on the sleeping arrangements -they both moan about the other ones snoring. I don't want to find one's thrown the other overboard in the middle of the night  Mind you, a bit of sea air might inject some romance and spice :kisses2:  :eek:My mind not only wanders .......... sometimes it leaves completely0
