So effectively I cannot use cash from my CC without paying any interest or being charged.

No, but you can use it as an interest free loan if you know someone who takes CCs for goods and/or services via payment processors such as Paypal.

Basically, you pay them £xx, they give you the money, and then within 60 days, you pay them back and they issue a refund. Since the payment was refunded, so are the charges, so its effectively an interest-free loan. I know people who do it on ebay, as its far cheaper to help them through the month than any other short term fix.

Thanks for all the suggestion. I too see "transfer to current account" greyed out. So effectively I cannot use cash from my CC without paying any interest or being charged.
I wonder if this facility is only available if your balance is positive, as a way of refunding money to your bank account

Pessimists see a glass half empty :(
Engineers just see a glass twice the size it needed to be :D
