I am a 18 year old male and have some goals for 2013
1) Learn to drive
2) Move out the family home
3) Get qualified
4) Go on my first holiday without my parents
I have shared my goals 2013, now what are yours
Good luck with achieveing all your goals, I wish you well.
My goal this year is to spend more time with friends and family. This Xmas break has made me realise I haven't seen those closest to me anywhere near enough.
The last few years have been focused on work.
This next year I want to invest my time into my personal life. I hope to take my children abroad on holiday.Grammar: The difference between knowing your !!!!!! and knowing you're !!!!!! :cool:0 -
A few major ones...
Run a 5k and a 10k race
Achieve a 2:1 in my degree (going to be really hard as I'm on track for a low 2:2, but it's not impossible if I really go for it and do my best)
By this time next year, either be moved in with my OH or looking to move in with him in the near future
Start learning to play the piano
I have a few more resolutions but they're less goal orientated.£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0 -
1.Move to another county and get a nicer house (fingers crossed I'll find out tomorrow if that's going to happen).
2.If we move get the kids into a nice school where they're both happy. My six year old hates her school already.
3. Get out and about and make some friends.
4. Get fitter and stop eating junk.
A lot of this year seems to be based on us moving. We're desperate to get away from here so if we can't we'll have a bit of thinking to do to make our lives the way we want them.0 -
Happy New Year!
Well, my New Year's resolution seems to be extremely powerful already! I got a text from a guy I know saying would I like to meet up for a coffee date?!
Only thing is, he is a great guy and I get on well with him, great sense of humour etc but he is at least 20 years older than me and I'm just not attracted to him - I just like him as a friend.
But the resolution was to go on at least one date this year and so far I'm doing alright touch wood lol!0 -
Excellent idea to learn to drive, even if you have no intention of getting a car any time soon ...
DS1 is going on a holiday to the USA with a friend, friend won it in a competition, prize includes hire car, friend doesn't drive! My fairly firm insistence that the boys should learn to drive in 6th form is paying off ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
As we finally bought out first house a month ago, most goals are related, including the usual DIY and getting into the mortgage overpayment habit...
I'd also like to eat better, we started down the Hairy Bikers route but events at the end of last year threw us off, better planning of grocery shopping and saving money included
Play more sport, I'd love to start tennis lessons I can actually mean shots rather than them being flukes!
Go on at least a couple of weekend breaks, I'm thinking Belgium for beer and chocolate and maybe London to see the science museum etc
Happy New Year to you all!0
