Just a question really. I am on pre pay metres, I know it's slightly more expensive but I prefer not to have a bill for gas and electricity and have to find a huge amount of money at the end of the month.
Anyway my question is , why does my wifi absolutely slam the electric? So my broadband box is on and the wifi on my phone is also on and my electric is dropping. Not noticeably unless we are onto the emergency credit which I do use occasionally and then it goes down so fast how does this by just using flashing lights on a box ?

Why does wifi slam the electric? magic? I do not really know. Never thought about wifi and electric. It cannot use much.

Well thats what I thought but it definitely does as I said especially when it's on the emergency credit it goes so fast. My DS was on his xbox live thing over Xmas and we were topping it up all the time.0

Because on emergency credit when you put the key in you are paying back the credit as well as paying for the units used.
A WiFi router will run for a lot of hours before using a single kWh0 -
