7 days and nothing thread ( please )

Firstly, please do not merge this with the 40 days and nothing thread as i see it as completely different.
I have sent the letter regarding "your 40 days is up, i'll give you 7 more ", and i am now at the stage of reporting them to the ICO.
However when you call the ICO for info, they do mention that certain companies are struggling to hand out the info with the 40 days. However I continued with my complaint....heres the hard part ( IMO ),
So I downloaded the DPAct Complaint form and filled that in.
Then had to fill in the other form and attach the relevant paper work, this was annoying because once i'd scanned all my corresponce ( origional letters, response letters, proof of delivery, proof they accepted and cashed the cheques ) i had to convert them to a relevant format for the ICO to accept ......phew* that was hard, and timely.
Then I read up on response times and It could be upto another 30 days !!!! and even then they can only advise the banks on what to do :(

Ok, my point being...DONT GIVE UP.

Has anyone else got anything to add about their ICO complaints? I'd like to hear what there response was to you.
Is there already an ICO complaints discussion thread, if so please direct me.

thanks

Personally, I wouldn't have given them the extra 7 days. But then, I am a professional b*st*rd! OK, so some companies are struggling - tough! So are a lot of their poor customers! They can always employ more people, allow overtime, or - heaven forbid - admit that their position is indefensible and do the honourable thing! Nothing worth achieving is ever easy.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)
