I have a used mobile phone listed but I am recieving bids from 3 bidders with zero feedback who all registered on christmas day.

if it is likely to go for more than £46 then recorded is not good enough, and it regularly does not record online signature (required to defend an item not received claim). If it's more valuable or you want extra security then special delivery is the way to go.
only send to the paypal address and if it says ok to send on paypal.
take plenty of photos especially ones showing identification/serial numbers etc.
this is general advice, i'm sure someone with more specific phone advice will come along too.if i had known then what i know now0 -
I second what eaglesrjh says, standard mail might not be ideal for a phone , and is definitely not recommended if it goes over £46. See the postage thread for more info on suitable postage options.
Also, I assume that you have seller preferences set tightly, and for a phone have all the settings in place to exclude overseas buyers?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I think my buyer requirements are the safest they can be
Block buyers who:
Don't have a PayPal account
Have received 2 unpaid item(s) recorded on their account within 1 month(s)
Have a primary delivery address in a location I don't post to
Have 4 policy breaches reported within 1 month(s)
Have a Feedback score of -1 or lower
Have no credit card on file
Are currently winning or have bought 10 of my items in the last 10 days and have a Feedback score of 5 or lower
Also make sure that you only post to the UK, saying that in the listing is not enough, you have to exclude other countries as you're putting the listing up. Have a look at the bidders and see where they are registered, if it's abroad you should probably end the listing and start again with all the above restrictions in place.

One thing generally I would increase is where you can opt for things like '2 NPB strikes ' always go for the longest term as it stops more time wasters. 2 strikes in 12 months is a lot better Than 2 in 1 month.
