I would not sign anything until you have clarified if you can retire ill health or not. Taking voluntary anything might not be your best course.
Apart from major life limiting illnesses, I find it hard to believe you never will work again at 31. Maybe not at your current job,but possibly another. You may have one of those of course (ie LLI) but we do not know as you haven't said.
My neighbor has been off on full pay for 'stress' for over a year. But enjoys her long holidays at her Florida house 3 times yearly and is never stressed when we are together lol.
whichever is the case, do then also look into whatever benefits you are due such as disability living allowance.
My BIL retired on ill health form his local authority scheme then got another job 12 months later in a different type position.
Everyone is different. Maybe if you are ill now, you won't be in 2 years time. But I can't blame anyone's work for trying to hire a new permanent person for the job you no longer do.0
