I use windows notepad to create simple listing details for ebay and wondered if anyone knows of a shortcut to switch between upper and lower case when entering text.

Can't get a shorter shortcut than that! Bizarre question,

  • snax, do you perhaps mean formatting text into upper case after it's already typed up?

Not possible with Notepad but if you download Notepad2 you will be sorted, as it is an enhanced version of Notepad.

  • I think Notepad is no good for such things - you want to use a word processing application. E.g. in MS Word going via Format > Change case...

Thanks for the replies - even the obvious ones ...:>)))

I thought I had read somewhere once that a block of text in , say, uppercase could be highlighted and then changed to lowercase by using ctrl+???? [or something like that] ..... probably me not remembering the facts properly.

thanks anyway ... will look into NP2 and Word.

Yes, in Word, highlight text, shift+F3 - cycles through first letter uppercase, all uppercase, all lowercase
