New Financial advisor rules

I wish I'd known about the shennanigans these guys get up to a few years ago
On the advice of my Financial Advisor, I invested £15k in a low risk investment for five and a half years, with a guarantee of getting my money back. Oh yes I got my original 15k back with the princely sum of just over £269 in interest, both the FA and the investment co. took over £300 between them in commission. If I had the chance again I'd just put my money into a plain old savings account.
Wise after the event huh !
