what if they don't pay up before defence date

HSBC need to have entered a defence by sunday. Last week they offered partial settlement (all but interest and court fee) which I am willing to accept. I signed the forms they sent me which agreed to this, stating that they would credit my account by 27th april. They haven't yet done tjhis - what happens if they don't do it by friday or don't do it at all? do I win by default /enter a judgement on sunday? how does this affect things?
thanks
UPDATE PLEASE HELP!
The bank didn't pay up - what do I do now? Do I proceed with entering a judgement? They needed to enter a defence by today but didn't because they sent me the forms to agree to the £500 they offered. Now that they have failed to pay, do i go ahead and how will the court view the fact that I agreed the settlement but HSBC didn't pay up? I could really do with some guidance; has anyone else been in this situation where the bank offered a settlement and failed to pay, before entering a judgement?
thanks
