I,m afraid to open my energy bills ,HELP

Energy bills have just arrived and have really freaked me out :eek:,dont even want to open them :eek:

Shall I leave them for my OH to do the honours?
Earnings £245 in 2014:T thanks to swagbucks

    The news won't be any less painful if you hear it from your OH will it.

    WELL I did it,what a surprise,Gas was lower than I could hope,yay,and the Electric ,WOW<THEY OWE ME £20.8.6
    This was the first time they had actually came to the house ,this year to read the meter .

    Thanks ,Bitsybeans now I have some good news for my OH when he eventually gets out of bed

    Well done for opening them Artydoll and I'm glad it wasn't anything like as bad as you thought.

    Just an idea - next time, if you're feeling worried when the bills come, why don't you post on the OS Daily Thread, and one of us will come along and "hold your hand" online while you open them. :o

    I always open the post straight away when it comes, otherwise I'm fretting about what it might be all day. It's awful when it's something addressed to Mr LW and I think it might be bad news, because obviously I have to leave those for him - though I open anything that's obviously utility-related, as I deal with the finances here.
