my mrs' has had a few problems (admittedly of her own doing) recently and has had her account restricted. she wasn't selling much and wouldn't have been using the account much anyway.
i'm moving in with her soon and have decided to keep the account registered at my dads for the above reason (don't want my account limited aswell).
how do ebay link accounts? will accessing ebay on my laptop/phone/ipad at her house lead to our accounts being linked or is it if i use her computer with my ID?
thanks xx

it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)

I could be wrong, but I would be very careful about accessing your account from an ip address which is linked to a restricted account. If you look on this forum there have been cases were people have had problems, because ebay have assumed that someone who they have restricted is using another account to avoid the restriction.0

I recently had someone staying, and was worried for the same reason. They have been restricted several times. Despite my asking them not to - they used Ebay and Paypal regularly.
But if the above is true - does everyone who uses internet cafes/wi-fi hotpsots at the same time as someone restricted get theirs blocked too?0 -
The thing is that it is often months if not years before ebay get round to linking accounts and whether by design or out of malice they do it at the most inconvenient moment.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. On the other hand a long standing account which starts using the same IP address can be explained as you moving in, whereas a brand new account on the IP address is pretty hard to suggest as anything other than a "get around"Adventure before Dementia!0

I.p address, names, addresses, phone number, selling activity, pictures you use, the computer you use ( cookies,) emails.
If a few of those match or link. They will most likely shut your account at some time.0
