Hi guys,

Trying to book a double room for 4th May 07 for 1 night, near kings cross.
£49 is the best i could find at the mo....... any suggestions.

Use the search for £26 saver rooms option and put various areas around london that are easy to get to by the underground. Kings Cross has good transport links so getting to Kings Cross from elsewhere isn't much of a challenge.

You could also try other places such as laterooms.com I think there was even a website where you could name your price and the hotel had to decide whether or not it accepted it and there were some tricks to make sure you got a room where you wanted at a good price, but I can't remember them or where the details are.

If the £49 offer is for Kings Cross itself then I dont think Travelodge do the central london rooms any cheaper. I have looked months in advance before and there was nothing cheaper than that.
