HSBC Business Account Credit/Sundry Items Descriptions - What do they mean?!

I've had an HSBC Business Account for some years and have queried their descriptions of charges several times and have never had a satisfactory answer - in fact their staff don't understand them - can anyone help?
What i don't understand is what the following actually mean:
Branch Cheque Only Credit
Branch Cheques Coll
I pay for both, and they always match in terms of numbers so I assume they are for the same items. There have been others which i don't understand, but I can't find a description of what the descriptions are on HSBC's website!
Any ideas?

I've just noticed that we have been charged the same two charges.
I have checked HSBC's tariff leaflet and it gives these explanations:
Branch Cheques Collected - Cheques paid in over branch counter - 27p per cheque
Branch Credits - Credits paid in over branch counter (containing cash/cheque activity) - 70p per credit
I think I may know what is happening in our case. We allow our customers to pay by BACS credit (CR) or Bill payment (BP), so we give our customers our account number and sort code. Occasionally, one of our customers writes out a paying-in slip with our account details and pays cash or cheque over the counter. The cash ones cause us a big headache because they are very hard to trace. I suspect that the cheque ones are showing up as a "Branch Credit" containing a single "Branch Cheque". This, apparently, costs us 97p.
Have you been paying cheques into the account at an HSBC branch, or could your customers be doing it?0
