London Marathon fundraising target not met!

Well, my OH ran the London Marathon on Sunday and lived to tell the tale!:T
It was an incredible day and OH is still in recovery mode, although back at work of course! We are watching it on video in the evenings, trying to spot him. We have already spotted me, as I was helping manning a water station all day.
You can see OH's smiley face on the justgiving website here:
I took that photo at the 24 mile station and he made it the full 26.2 miles!
He wasn't smiling for long though because he failed to reach his fund raising target for The Smile Train.... You see he wants to pay for 5 children to have much needed cleft palate and hare lip repair operations. Those 5 kids can't have it on the NHS as they live in poor countries. This operation will transform their lives, enabling them to stay with their family rather than be socially excluded. They can then go to school, get a job, marry, etc.- all opportunities denied them without the op.
When OH looked at the website today and was so disheartened at the shortfall, I hoped we could pay the difference ourselves but it is quite a bit.
In true mse style he is going to claim the tax back for the charity from Gordon Brown.
Take a look for yourselves! Any contributions online to the official website would be gratefully received from fellow mse readers. Just use the link above and if you put "mse" in the comments we will be able to thank you.:T

I wish I could but I've already pledged £20 to 2 others. I sincerely hope you meet your target.
Wishing you well.

Just right click on the link peeps, without including the full stop, and post it in your browser at the top.

Well done Malcom :A
I have added a little bit to your total and wish you all the best for getting to your target. The marathon is a great event and brings a lot of people together and the atmosphere is magic. Even makes you feel glad
that you live in London if only for a few hours a year

Thanks for your donation pot'o'gold and thanks for the tip so I have edited out the full stop from the link now as you suggested.
Thanks mariauk too. Yes we have our memories of the day and hope to have helped others. Lots of people were cheering Malcolm because he had his name printed on his running vest.0 -
