Pip question

Hi, my husband has received higher rate care and mobility since 1992. His certificate said 10 years but then changed in 1994 I think to indefinitely as his disability was from birth and will worsen throughout his life. Will he be reviewed for the pip scheme or will the indefinitely of the dla continue??

an indefinate DLA award, really means nothing, as it can be reviewed at any time.
all wprking age DLA claimants will be assessed for PIP0 -
Thank you. He has nothing to worry about as meets the criteria fully but we just wondered if he would be reviewed.Debt Free since 23rd October 2008 :heart2:0

Andy, will you stop spouting bull!!! It's going to be phased in and could be 2015 before those under 65 finally get moved to PiP. Now please go and shelter under that rock and quit scaring people unnecessarily! And yes I know you said 'WILL' be moved but you did not make clear that it's going to be at least 2015 before everyone is moved over and not 2013 as your post seems to suggest.Don't be too sure about meeting the criteria for PIP!
All of those that are not 65 by the 8th April 2013 WILL move to PIP.
Edit, Reported your post too, false information, scaremongering.0 -
Well do please make things clear rather than trying to spread panic, yes it will happen eventually and who knows what untold woes that is going to bring but making ambiguous remarks helps nobody. There was no mention whatsoever in your initial post about this being 'phased-in'.Oh please get a life!
I quite clearly said that: All of those that are not 65 by the 8th April 2013 WILL move to PIP which to most of us actually means that IF you are not 65 as at the 8th April 2013, they WILL move over to PIP!
I never mentioned anything about when that would happen as no one, including the DWP, has a clue - it could be 2013, 2014 or even 2017 or 2018 - no one knows! There have been that many changes so far, that anything is possible.
There is nothing false or misleading in what I have said. As for scaremongering, I was only putting out the facts as they stand at the moment. Is that so wrong? Some people.
If I was you I would go and take a few 'happy' pills and calm down & if it actually makes you a happy person, I don't mind being called Andy, George, John or whatever.0 -
