Pet insurance - which breed?

I am looking to insure my dog which is a dachshund cross jack russell. With one insurer, if I mark him as a dachshund cross it's a lot more expensive than if I mark him as a jack russell cross. £10 difference on the cover I would probably go for.
You could say the prominent breed in him is the dachshund because he has the long body, short legs and same paws, he just has a bigger body and head which is the jack russell part.
I presume there may be some health issues related to a dachshund that aren't to a jack russell and this is why there's such a difference?
But can I get away with saying he's a jack russell cross, which is true, even though you can clearly see he is a daxy too?

£10 won't seem a lot if they void the policy when you make a claim if they feel you have manipulated your application to get a lower premium.
Ask the insurer how to describe your cross breed, and if their answer is the ine you want, get them to confirm it in writing.0
