dont keep skipping over comps just because they have a little effort to them IE a game (if its a random draw, if its a draw that requires you to be in the top x of players then i will avoid those)

    help out more

    post more comps

continue to be picky about what i enter

I am going to enter more holiday comps - so far I've avoided these unless everything is included - ie travel & spending money but as it's my silver wedding anniversary in 2013 I'm hoping to win a holiday somewhere nice

    My 2013 comping resolutions are:

Spend more time entering 'Effort' competitions - I have won most of my prizes with these competitions so I'm going to spend even more time on these.

Try 3 months entering the daily mag competitions and see if they work out for me!

    Create a comping wins album!
My new year's comping resolution is to spend more time entering the 'Effort competitions' properly!

Thank you everyone who posts comps and participates in the Forums :T

Yes I need to record my wins again - I did when I first started comping 2 years ago - I wrote each win in a little book! But then last year I didn't bother. This year, I will defo start recording again - it was always interesting to compare each months wins.
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

    Xmas Saver!
I have decided to start entering the daily comps. I started in October no wins yet but hopeful.

I did not do the rafflecopter comps before, I was a little lost with them but asked questions & now understand them so have started to enter those as well, I was blocked on FB for a month un blocked for one week, blocked again for a month & so far two weeks being able to use FB again! so can now fill most of them out. Not holding my breath with FB though!

And when I enter comps on the main board I use the tick button to show the ones I have entered but lots of times someone posts a comp thta has all ready been posted & I click through & find it's one I would like to win but missed. So now I am using the tick & x, tick if entered & x if I don't want to enter it, so in theory there should be no over looked comps, well that's the idea anyway!

  • To scroll down and read the entire competition post.

As it have started comping at the end of November and it's been a bit hectic trying to keep up, I sometimes enter the comp after reading the first post instead of scrolling down to read the replies just in case there is a different answer or its a dupe (thus making my entry void).

For me, I plan to just enter the comps that I actually would love to win, not just enter for the sake of entering.
Also, no more entering comps that involve just following/liking.

Good luck to everyone this year!

BlueBella - the only time I won a Times Comp was probably the one time I entered every single hour! In the summer I was out a lot so entered a few here and there.

Going to be very selective this year, only stuff I really want. Gave stuff to family this year of things I just wasn't going to use or I thought someone might want, this year I will enter just for ME, will save me time as I have lots of other things to be doing. Plus if working hopefully, I need to skim through the day's comps quickly of an evening. Don't want a lot of clutter here either.

Enter as few like/share on fb as it must have really peed people off... Also it's hard to keep a check on fb comps if they only post the winner on the wall.

Will try and mainly enter for well known/established companies on websites as can trust them more to have genuine prizes. Not piddly little twitter/fb comps for new companies who may not follow correct procedure or who spam me till they get x amount of followers. I want proper end dates and short date comps. No entering for something I have to get newsletters for months on end - in fact I hate newsletter comps and am red X 'ing them as I go, does anyone even win from them?
