New Year's Comping Resolutions 2013

Hi,
I have been thinking about my New Year's Comping Resolutions and have decided not let the Times hourly competitions take over my weekends!!! So if I have planned to go shopping or visit family, I will NOT change my plans or feel guilty about missing them! I will just enter the hourly comps I am in for! :j Anyway, I have entered almost every Times/Sunday Times hourly comp during 2012 and never won so I think I should stick to this one! :rotfl:

hmm, interesting... i've never had a win from the magazine dailies and i spend some time entering them so i was wondering about possibly ditching these, it would be great to know the odds of winning one of those as there are some fantastic prizes.
on the hourly Times front i'm afraid i enter from my phone whilst i'm out! and seeing other MSErs winning on these spurs me on. Did most of the Stella entries and that really did pay off!
another resolution for me would be to have more of a go at the effort comps. My husband's resolution would be for me to stop spending so much time entering the comps generally :rotfl:Best wins: Holiday to San Francisco, Full sky package + TV, Rewind Festival tickets & Snoozebox, 5* London hotel stay, £1000 B&Q0 -

My resolution is just the opposite. :rotfl: I have never before entered the magazine comps more than about one each. I have decided to give these a go on a daily basis at the expense of entering other competitions. My resolution will be to stick to this for at least two months.0 -

Yes, I too might have a go at the effort comps! I am usually always rushing to get the dailies and easy entry comps done so tend to skip the effort entry comps. I may consider giving up some of the easy entry comps to allow myself more time to enter the effort comps - good idea!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

I must admit I have been very lucky o the mag dailies. I have kept going with them throughout advent too and have won a fair few prizes from them last year - at least once a month if not more. Defo worth a try!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
My resolution is to go back to comping the way I did prior to March 2012 (and the demise of my laptop). Hoping to be up to date with the boards & go back to doing dailies religiously by end of January.
At the moment I am end date comping & while it works for many, it is not for me, currently doing todays and personally feel I am winning less with this method.
I liked being up to date with boards which gave me plenty of time to fit in the dailies (I have been very very lucky with mag dailies doing them religiously), am so disorganised this way and missed 90% of the advents.I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

I'm with you on the effort competitions. Sometimes even a comment puts me off and I click the red cross. I'm ashamed and vow to do better
I'll likely save them to do later in a folder. Good luck everyone with your resolutions! x
May you all have lots of luck, Emma xx0 -

I have just created a 'efforts to do' folder so I ca save some of the effort comps for a quite day when I have some extra time. Hopefully I may win one or two!:j:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
My comping resolution is to stop spending too much time reading faff on Facebook, I used to hunt there for competitions but can spend hours there looking at cats and misc stuff.Wishing you all good luck!
