Car insurance advice needed please

Hi,
advice needed please.
Have recently written off car. Have received the payout for vehicle less the excess.
Currently looking at buying replacement car, just wondered what happened with insuring the new car? Reason being, I am still paying for the "written off car" yearly policy in monthly installments with 9 months left.
Can I add the new car to this policy?

Yep, Just transfer the policy to the new car.0

Ring the Customer Services for the insurance co, they are best placed to advise you. Most likely yes, although make sure that they will cover the car you want to buy (BEFORE you buy it), otherwise you will be stuck paying off the remaining premium whilst having to take out another policy with someone else.0
