The aldi Lacura gave me spots - I have sensitive skin with dry patches eczema and sometimes spots the cream that suits me best is the Eucerin anti ageing one for sensitive skin it's amazing and a really good base for makeup too. I am 32 and people always thinks i'm about 10 years younger. Here is a link (it's normally on 3 for 2) http://www.boots.com/en/Eucerin-Sensitive-Skin-Q10-Active-Anti-Wrinkle-Cream-50ml_48732/0

I,m male...for the past two decades or so i have almost always used a moisturiser on my face typically Nivea for men moisturiser. Simple, effective and relatively inexpensive. The secret is to ensure it has UV blockers. Also i always use high factor on hols/in strong sun. It has certainly made all the difference for meFeudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

Perhaps try the Bodyshop Vitamin E range. My mum has been using that range for the past decade and she loves it. Get them while they have a 3 for 2 offer and get a loveyourbody card (extra 10% off but that is a fiver for the card).0

Ive tried tons of creams
You are only a youngster, but I guess, the earlier you start on anti ageing cream the better.
I also trial/test creams and I have to say, Ive tried stuff that is well beyond the means of the every day lady - but the make I find best without doubt is Olay.
Have a look on their site and see what they recommend for your particular problems.
I use the regenerist range but then Im oldhaving said that, at a recent trip to a beautician for a serious facial she estimated my age 10 years less than it really is. And also an eye cream - that is important, but apply very gently or you could cause damage rather than prevent it. And exfoliation every few days is good.
The most important thing is routine. Every morning and evening, cleanse, tone and moisturise. I use a serum before the moisturiser too and over night I use the renewal product.0 -
I always use day cream and night cream. Im not fussy on brands - I always try and get a half decent brand when its on offer, but I always make sure the day cream one has sun protection uvThe opposite of what you know...is also true0

Olay can be had for some very good offers on amazon or some of the cosmetic sites or superdrug. Boots sell the pot of day cream at nearly £30, I recently bought 3 for £36 online.0

I second the advice re wearing a moisturiser with sunscreen. It really is the best preventative measure. Other than that, the best thing to do is avoid ingredients that will irritate your skin. That includes most plant, fruit, herb and flower extracts, I'm afraid; it's a common myth that 'natural' extracts are beneficial for your skin but in fact they can thicken it as the skin attempts to protect itself from e.g. Lavender oil and tea tree oil, which causes your skin to age more quickly. For this reason, many dermatologists advise against using brands like Origins and the body shop. Some of the cheapest stuff is the best because it's simpler.0

i also recommend aldi lacura range, Ive been using the day/night/eye cream and serum and have noticed my skin has been improved - for the first time ever I dont have any dry patches/dehydrated patches at all..and my skin looks plumper and smoother.
I used to go for the expensive creams before as well, thinking they would be better but seeing the reviews for aldi Im glad I gave them a try. My skin is oily, occasional spots, not very sensitive though.
The other thing my mum does and I used to do is put a really thin thin layer of vaseline on top of any face cream and that used to help with hydrating my skin and keeping it plump..i just need to start using sunscreen nowWe got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

I have to rave about my new-found favourite creme - Avon's Genics Anew. It's fab! It's usually £26 but they have offers regularly which bring it down to £13. I've been using it a couple of months now. I bought it after reading the reviews on Avon's website and I honestly couldn't love it more. I haven't had a single spot, it has calmed down the rosacea on my cheeks, faded the freckles on my cheekbones and my skin is so smooth - it's practically poreless. I regularly pass for 27 or so and I even got ID'd at a pub the other week - I'm 40 this year! It is a little rich for under makeup though, so I use it as a night creme then rinse my face with water only the next morning and use Simple moisturiser for under makeup. Normally Simple wouldn't be rich enough to stop my cheeks feeling dry but I think the Avon creme gives it such a good shot of moisture overnight, I can get away with it.
I'm a slave to beauty counters and have tried them all: Clarins/Estee lauder/Elizabeth Arden/Aveda/Dior and I've loved some of them, but they never seemed to do everything I wanted them to do.
My skin tends to dryness with slight oilness around the nose and chin, can be sensitive and can be prone to the odd breakout. I'm also sensitive to some sunscreens and can't use moisturisers with an SPF added.
I can't use Aldi's Lacura - my and it made my face tight and stinging - especially around the eyes.
I did get on quite well with the Protect & Perfect range until they changed it and added sunscreen and I had to stop using it. I was soooo upset about that!
I do like Olay - but again, I can only use their classic range for sensitive skins because all the other ranges have an SPF.You had me at your proper use of "you're".0
