Praise: Matalan warehouse packers

Just wanted to throw a bit of praise out there for whoever does the packing at the Matalan warehouse. Bearing in mind we're talking items that cost 25p - £3.50, I've never received such well packed items.

They've used reams of bubble wrap, air pockets and individual plastic bags to save the items incase the box got wet or bashed, I really couldn't believe it.

Debenhams take note!!

thats not done in the warehouse. all that packing is done in what ever country it is made in. they take the item already wrapped out the shipping box and all they add is the large air pockets to the box or bag your items arrive in.

so you need to thank the people in china, cambodia, pakistan and turkey (most the clothes are from there)

I doubt thats the case on the basis that I ordered some odd amounts of things (i.e. 3 of something, 8 of something else) and they were all wrapped up together in extra sheets of bubble wrap.

More over, the individually wrapped items were not wrapped 'uniformly' - I'd expect something in factory packaging to all be wrapped in the same size bubble wrap etc and these weren't - not to their detriment at all though.

My praise remains with Matalan :T

Debenhams are dreadful - ordered 2 mugs and had to be reordered 3 times as they kept sending the mugs and they'd arrive broken. They just put the tiniest piece of bubble wrap and put them in a plastic bag! Ridiculous!
