I've now been paid for all of my eBay items and they have been posted. So far this month I've made:

    Interest on savings account: 35p
eBay sales (minus fees & postage): £105.02

    Making a total of £105.37 - beating my target of £77.50 :)

More things ending on eBay this weekend, and more still to list. I am a happy bunny :)

This is the worst month EVER! I've made no extra money in a whole week!

.....that was until I opened my mail this morning and a lovely £10 voucher fell out :D also 50p from a friend overpaying his half of the restaurant bill. Debating whether to add £36 from the ex buying my DD some clothes that I was going to buy? We went shopping in primark and picked up 22 items for £36, bargain! It's saved me a lot of money as I may of picked clothes that were a size too big too see her through until next year :D well, I wasn't paying so have to make the most of it :D shove it, I will add it and transfer that dosh to my savings account.

Ooh nearly forgot, bought Ben and Jerrys for DSs birthday dinner on Saturday and it was advertised as half price but went through as full price, DTD given and 2 free B&Js in my freezer :D (just so happens to be my favourite flavours :D) so another £10 added :)

  • I have been reading about everyone's successes on here over the last week and told DH about it and that we should join, we listed loads of CD's on Ebay and a few other items on Sunday nothing sold so far and to be honest looking pretty grim however we are going for £5 a day till end of the month - 16 x 5 = £80 target.

Great start though as we sent off old mobile phone yesterday and earnt £42.50 less the delivery postage charge of £6.35 = £36.15 so we're off! I have also "sold" an item on facebook but as its not being collected until tomorrow won't include it until I have the money.
:) Hubby & I got in the mess together and will get out of it together :-) x

Woohooo, £50 in the bank today from YouGov!! :D
    Straight off the CC!

Well done for reaching redemption but how long did it take you? I hear mixed reviews about YouGov. Some rate it highly and say they cash out every 12 months and others say after years they still haven't reached the £50. What's your view on the site?

I'm adding £6.08 giving me a total of £71.19 / £75.00. Super glad I joined this challenged as I really had no idea I was making this much in my spare time :T

Hi Inthistogether, :hello: how lovely that your DH has agreed to join with you to do the challenge. :T

You have reminded me I have 2 phones to send off for recycling, they have texted and emailed me to remind me! But I need to charge them first so they can check them.

About your CDs, have a look at these:

if you go through Quidco before selling to them, you maybe able to earn some extra cash. Word of warning, their prices tend to be low and they do resell what they buy, usually on amazon.

Ooh they have now started buying clothes, this is new....
