Just a measly £2.50 here from a Facebook sale, but still, another few little bits and bobs gone forever.
I know what you mean Fairy about the value of the space in my house, and I flit backwards and forwards between that way of thinking, where it's not about selling stuff for the money, it's about selling it because I want it gone, but then back to Oh but I could get a £ or 2 for that!!
Just need to catch myself in the right mindset at the time of a clear out!!

I like the 6 month rule Aesop, but then there's a lot of stuff that we're keeping from DS1 for when DS2 is a bit older - there's about 2 years between them. Yet it's silly really as we could have sold everything as we went along with DS1 and just bought it all again this time, especially with these Facebook groups, it means I haven't even got to drag myself round a bootfair to clothe them etc :D
My problem is we kept everything, yet I still buy more :o
Have done quite well though today at finding bits to go, including a couple of bigger bulky toys that do still get played with! But that there's plenty more instead anyway so won't really be missed by the kids.
    Progress :D

What is shop and scan ? Not come accross it ? X

Hope shopitize can sort your receipt Sally.

Shop and Scan, there was a link on the first post, not sure if still working.

It is a company called Kantar. You apply through a link, it registers your interest with them. When they have a vacancy they take you on.

They give you a little scanner, and a booklet. You have to scan items that you buy weekly, and once a week upload the barcode data. They then pay you 1100 points which is is about £1.10? someone will correct me on the amount.

And you can submit receipts for 500 points per week. Once you reach 10000 points, you can redeem for a £10 voucher for different things, homebase, drayton manor :D, hotels, butlins, amazon (I think), next, and lots of other places.

Once on board, you can ask to join their other panels, like webview, food diaries, petrol on the go, etc. It is worth it as the points build up.

this is the link if you want to register, and no it is not a referral link

    well worth joining.

One thread about it here this tells you a bit more about the other panels.

Have sold a couple more items but money not in my hand yet so not counting as they could well back out or not be happy when they come to collect, touch wood all will be okay as it'll be £135 more (and seeing as I need a new bed and a new sofa, - both been broken for a while now and my bodge fixing has finally given in, they won't last being moved) I am selling anything not nailed down!! :rotfl:
