Beware Llloyds TSB current account fee waiver

We were recently cold-called by our Lloyds TSB branch suggesting that we upgrade our Premier Account to Premier Vantage, because it provides a higher interest rate. When I asked what the catch was they said the only impact was more interest. However when we got our next statement there was a new £25 monthly fee! It turns out that there is a 'fee waiver' for existing account holders and that the fee is activated when an account is changed. When I threatened them with the FSA and closing the account, they immediately reverted us back and paid a small amount in compensation!
