Just the material you mean? or a complete hood?
Cheap PVC material £150 - £200. Mohair or similar £250 - £300
Do you have the window section? If not add upto £100 to the above prices for a new one.
Fitting seems to be around £300 so possibly not an easy job. You need someone to work. Where you can leave it and come back later when your struggling.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
How much would it cost to restore the tent and mechanism of a peugeot 205 ?
I found one , in great condition , at least from the exterior point of view!
I'd be extremely wary of taking something like this on. By the sounds of it, not only does it need a hood, but maybe some mechanicals too?
These cars are unloved and certainly not 'old school'. They're a rather naff hatchback conversion. You would be far better looking at something like an mx5 that will have some value when complete. I bought one last year for £800 with a full years MOT.
If you really *must* own a 205 convertible, save yourself hassle and probably and buy one with the work done...
