Ebay Issue

Hi All,
I bought a phone off Ebay, however I was unhappy with the condition of it and notified the seller once it arrived. The seller got back to me and said that he outlined the damage on the phone and looking back there was a small reference to the damage at the bottom of the page.
I decided to sell the phone on and highlight the damage on it, the buyer is now complaining that the phone is an Iphone 4 and not and 4S as I advertised, this is nonsense but the guy is sending me very nasty emails and has withheld my pay pal payments - what can I do?

Firstly if paypal (and it can't be the buyer) have put a hold on the payment then there must be a case open. I don't know the difference between a 4 and a 4S, is it obvious from a photo at all and if so can you provide paypal with that info in the dispute section?
usually though paypal will find for a buyer regardless and that can cause a seller problems. It might be worth just offering a refund when buyer sends phone back.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It's disappointing that Ebay rules in favour of the buyer regardless.0

Are you absolutely sure that the phone is a 4S. In the very basic difference, 4S has siri, 4 doesn't. Did you use the phone, connect it to itunes, update it, note the serial number/imei number of the phone?
Ask for it to be returned and check that it's the same phone you sent off (as you should've kept the details of the phone)0 -

Not really when you sold them an incorrect item.
Like going to buy a 7 seater family car and turns out to be a 2 seater smart.
Sellers says its got 4 wheels so you MUST pay for it.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
The buyer has just been in touch to advise that the phone is an Iphone 4S, it appears his wife bought him the Iphone 5 and he wanted to offload the phone I sold him.0
