Can I get a car replaced under warranty?

Options
Hi everyone, I've been having no end of trouble with my 06 reg Getz pulling left for about a year now.

I have taken the car to about three different dealers who have no idea how to fix the problem. The car's even in a dealership as we speak. It's getting worse as well, as the front tyres are being run down to the casing.

Is there anything I can do about it? I have been told to contact Hyundai directly and ask them to replace the car as it's not roadworthy. I even had to have a new clutch on this car after 200 miles on top of the "pulling" problem!

Please help me! Many thanks ;)

What did Hyundai say when you asked them to replace it?

Sounds like the Mondeo problem about 8 years ago - google it; you may find what was causing their veering (sp?) to the left and be able to advise Hyundai! ;)

I haven't asked Hyundai yet, as I'm too scared! Also, I'm still waiting for the car to come back from the dealer. Thanks anyway for the help ;)

Sorry to double post, but I thought I'd give you an update as to what is happening with my car. I had to take the car to another branch of the dealership I use, as my main one doesn't have the correct wheel alignment equipment to test my car.

I have now been told that the car is pulling left was because the tracking was out, and the wear on my front tyres was caused by me over inflating them with air! Even though when they were checked, they all had the same air pressure in them!

The tracking being done again hasn't really helped either. I'm just being fobbed off again, and I don't know where to turn. Someone must be able to help me?

For general questions please contact your local dealer or call the Hyundai Information Service on 0800 981 981. Alternatively feel free to email us using this form.

    http://www.hyundai.co.uk/contact/

Give them a call and explain your problem. Tell them how unhappy you are and how your local garages (three of them) have been unable to resolve the problem and you consider the car dangerous to drive. Tell them the reason you got a Hyundai was because you had heard how reliable they are. Ask them how they plan to go about fixing your car or are they prepared to offer you a replacement as this one is clearly faulty and nobody seems able to repair it.
