I phoned up the other day to see why they had no stock in any styles, went to india and i could of been talking swahelli as she didn't have a clue.

She wanted my credit card number though..
so i put the phone down, i can't be bothered with all that nonsense.

To hell with a bargain, ill keep my credit thanks

How do I go about getting a customer number as I am a new customer is there somewhere on the website I can sign up because I can only find a sign up page which requires your customer number which I obviously dont have!

I ordered a pair of these for £12.50. Somehow I also managed to order another pair in completely the wrong size for the full sale price of £22.50. Phoned to amend my order, but they wouldn't let me - they said I had to wait for the order to arrive and send back.

So today (over a week later) get an e-mail saying they've charged me £17.50(!) for the pair I don't want. Phone again - get told the ones I did want have been cancelled as they are out of stock.

Trainers turned up today and now I've got to send back.

So a) customer service sucks (and you have to wait ages to get through) and b) I don't believe for a moment that the size I wanted was out of stock. Reckon they just didn't go through with it because they were selling them to me for £12.50.

Overall, not that impressed, but I guess if something sounds too good to be true...

They are great. Make sure you order above your size as adidas tend to be a tad smaller than the uk trainers.

Got an email from La Redoute on Wednesday (a full week after I placed my order) to say that they can't process it as I gave my work address for delivery (as I really can't be faffed trying to get down to the sorting office to collect them). Might have been helpful if they'd told me that when I placed the order :rolleyes:

So now I have a dilemma - having checked my bank balance since I placed the order, I now know that, even at that price, I should be a bit more prudent this month and shouldn't really re-order, but it's a pair of Stan Smith's for £12.50. What's a girl to do?!?!?!?!
