Cancelled Order Was Delivered! Will I Get My Money?

Recently I posted about a cancelled order which was dispatched, and my advice was to refuse the order! Unfortunately I was out, and my mum, unaware, signed for delivery!
I had however called ASDA that morning, and they assured me that on their part the cancellation was done and that I would receive my refund in 7 days, ASDA also advised me to refuse delivery!
What should I do? Keep the items and wait for them tot give me my money! I need to know this ASAP, as I made a replacement order and if it is discovered that I can keep the items, I will cancel that one.
I ordered it on the 28/12/2012 and cancelled it the same day, before dispatch! It was delivered on 29/12/2012! I payed via Debit card and had to pay £4.50 for delivery (I was told I'd get that refunded aswell!)

You know what the answer is. Stop wasting people's time. Be honest, you don't get things for free in this world.0

When you rang ASDA did you tell them you have already received the item?
If you want the item then keep it, they will charge you in due course (they have up to 6 years to do so if paid by debit/credit card).
If you're happy with the item then cancel the new order.0 -

When I rang ASDA, I told them that according to the Yodel Website it was out for delivery, but they assured me the cancellation was done on thier part! And I would recieve my refund in 7 days. Should I wait it out for 7 days and if I don't recieve the refund then return it?0 -

No, you ring Asda now and tell them the item has been delivered. They can then arrange to collect the item from you.
Do you really need people to spoon feed you on this?0 -
The refund their end will likely only kick in when the item is returned.
As its been delivered, it wont be returned, and given you had the item when you called ASDA you knowingly with-held information which would greatly change the circumstance of the situation.
I would expect to be charged in due course - there's very few free lunches out there in the big bad world now - and being deceitful is not a good thing.0
