in Gone off!
Popped in to Co-op as I needed to get some Day Nurse for the bf and nabbed myself 2 boxes each of the following:
After Dinner mints (After8 copies)
Seashells (like Guylain - milk and white choc swirled)
Turkish Delight thins (Turkish Delight version of After8s but milk choc)
Milk Choc orange segments
For 50p each! They were £1 a box (or 3 for £2) before Christmas.
They are all dated until Sept 2013 and in my opinion will be fine after that - if they last! I plan on using mine for birthday gifts/hampers and hostess gifts over the course of the coming months - will repackage in cellophane/bags of course but I'm happy with them as purchases
Anybody seen any bargains in ASDA on confectionary/long date items?

Lakeland https://www.lakeland.co.uk has Christmas reductions including food, stuff like chocolate, truffles, preserves, cakes, teas. Still not dirt cheap but up to 60% off.0

Morrison's have reduced some of their Christmas range, off the top of my head there were liqueur chocs (Cointreau and Irish cream I think) 48p, Cadbury Festive Friends (Xmas animal biscuits basically) 48p, mince pie flavoured popcorn (surprisingly nice) 48p, orange and lemon jelly slices (gross but my OH likes them) 48p, chocolate covered lebkuchen gingerbread stars 48p.
Their other big name chocs were reduced too but not enough IMO, think the best bargains were After Eights for £1.50 and Quality Street cartons for £1.99, but these offers were on before Christmas. HTHStarted Comping 25th September 2013.
October wins :j : Chapstick Goodie Bag, Mixed Case of Kumala Wine, £10 Two Seasons Gift Voucher, Elizabeth Shaw Chocolate bar, Schwarzkopf Colour Mask, Eco Soap Sample Bundle.

I heard yesterday that Asda had reduced lots of Choc/biscuits Xmas lines, but not been in there myself.

Morrisons had Thornton's chocolate mints down to £1.98 a couple of days ago. I saw the same boxes in a Budgens yesterday for £8!0

My local Morrisons (Kidderminster) had reduced Cadbury selection boxes to 48p with expiry dates til April 2013. I like the chocolates inside them so i brought a few and will unpack them to put in my lunch box.
Also brought some Thorntons Xmas chocolate lolly pops 38p, but they had a long expiry on til March 2014.2015 wins :j Sekonda watch, Harry Potter hardback book,0 -

I had a look in Asda and Sainsbury's today. Some minor reductions in my local stores but very, very limited stock. I don't think my local Asda ever recovered from the pricing error prior to Christmas, where offers included selection boxes for 50p and Cadbury's magic stars for 12p! They don't seem to have replaced the stock - understandably.
As a result, I haven't found many bargains on my travels.
I got a couple of Lindt choc santas [125g] for £1 in Wilkinsons. I've seen people posting that they've found them cheaper since, but I haven't seen them cheaper on my travels.0 -

I have seen lots of posts on hukd about cheap chocs and biscuits in Asda. I went to Asda today and the seasonal aisle where all the Christmas chocs and biscuits were had been cleared and filled with cleaning products. There were some Lindt Santas by the tills for 25p and boxes of mini chocolate party rings also 25p. In the reduced section there were gingerbread men and kp nuts but that was about it.0
