Selling my flat (sold stc) ~ lease issues, help needed

I recently sold a leasehold flat and had simular problems. The lady who owned the upstairs flat was the freeholder for both and I passed the form to her. It was a standard form and not all applied. My solicitor had argued to the purchaser that it didnt apply but they insisted. There was no mgt company and no shared parts.

Shes a lovely lady who I got on well with, she was also dealing with a very poorly mum at the time but patience did run out. It was written in legal speak and it took 3 months before she admitted that she didnt understand and didnt know anything about the freehold ir even have a copy of the lease any more.. I ended up paying for her to have 1/2 hour session with my solicitor to get it completed.

This may be an option for you if things dont start moving.
