Adding a floppy drive

    You will have to take both sides of the case any way to do up the screws that will hold the drive into its bay. The blanking plate is probably held in by spring clips that you have to press inward from behind.
    If there is a spot welded metal plate behind the blanking plate then you can gently break the welds by gently rocking the plate forward and back.
    Watch out for sharp edges from welds and seams inside the computer. Try not to obstruct air flow with the floppy cable.
