Double check the tariffs against those you are currently on with EDF providing they are less go ahead.

Hi, if you can get online have a look at your statements it will tell you which tariff you are on and then search through these boards as there are many different tarrifs for EDF for customer that signed up at different times. I have had wildly different results for different comparison sites, also if you switch using the energy helpline you can get cash back.

Hi James.I have been with Atlantic for 18 months and i would recommend them.I got a months payment back with them after a year,if you pay by direct debit that is standard. They always reply to emails and i definitely saved quite a bit when i moved away from Powergen.

Double check as in look at the rates you are paying with EDF and see if they match with the online comparisons, because if you signed up to EDF on their online tariff via comparison site you may find that now the comparison sites are not listing the lower tariff you are on and use a wrong higher rate to compare with.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

I would recommend Atlantic definately. They are cheap, and provide excellent customer service.

    Hello,
Just wanted to confirm what others said: based on these online comparison tools, I could save by switching from EDF but looking at my online statement, I am on online v4 tariff which is actually quite a bit cheaper than everyone else...

    OMG

I was reading this thread a few minutes ago and thought I would go check what I was paying.

    EDF

    227 @ 14.95
    1544 @ 10.16

Decided to phone them for best price they could offer (never ever done it before)

    Got a quote:

    1st rate @ 14.05
    2nd rate @ 9.61

And they changed me there and then, only took 5 minutes in total.

It was so easy I must have been paying well over the top, now I need to look around for better.
