Jacamo is not sub prime. They are part of jd william group and run premier man etc. Though that rate look mega high, argos, next etc also have high rates
That's like saying Provident isn't sub-prime because it's ran by Provident.
J D Williams, in its various guises, appears to offer credit accounts to almost everyone who applies, their prices are high and their APR is over well 30%.0 -
I used to use my Jacamo, keeping it open as it is my oldest credit account. I have recently used Littlewoods as although slightly dearer than Jacamo, you have free delivery PLUS interest free terms (obviously paid for by higher prices). Of course the items on Jacamo will end up costing far more once you take interest into account!!!
I have now got credit cards so will dump that and stop using catalogues when I am fully paid off.
Jacamo has helped me with my credit building and the fact I need bigger sizes (height) but beyond that, not much reason I would want to continue using it.I have numerous qualifications in Business and Finance, Accountancy, Health and Safety and am now studying Law.
Don't rely on anything I write as it may be wrong!!!0 -
Thats not a fair comparison. But will conseed having done a bit of googling. If you keep on doing what's you've always done, you'll keep on being what you've always been...:think:0

Use the force, the good thing about catalogues it that you can order a few sizes to try and return the ones that don't fit/like before the balance is due. If paid off in full work out a good way to shop without having to trail up town etc.If you keep on doing what's you've always done, you'll keep on being what you've always been...:think:0
