Debenhams charging for free delivery

Hi just wondered if anyone else has been charged for delivery by Debenhams online recently when it should have been delivered free? I have been charged 3.99 on each of my last three free delivery orders including the the ones placed on Boxing Day.The delivery was quick but I am very annoyed about the charges :mad:

Have you contacted them? it could just be a mistake and you could get your £12 back.

Are you sure you have been charged? My invoice showed the charge but I my credit card was charged the correct amount.

Thanks very much for your replies. I have rung Debenhams and it's obviously a problem as they have a recorded message regarding this topic! I am going to check my credit card statements soon as I get home - so fingers crossed..

I was charged delivery with my order in early December, - phoned them straight after checkout as the note on screen said somthing like "delivery charges will be deducted at checkout" but they were not -

I had to wait until I received a dispatch notification via email a couple of days later they said, as before that they only have a shadow on my account and have not taken the money

I rang back a couple of days later and was refunded straight away - she told me they were getting lots of calls about it..

I thought it was just a temporary glitch and am surprised they have let it carry on this long,

Not used the site myself but maybe the free del only applies to certain items.
