This one has been pinched directly from my friend who I had a cup of tea with this afternoon!
She had a lovely decorated papier mache bowl on top of her TV....when I asked her if she had made it [Jo is fantastic with papier mache and has made the most amazing models for her sons over the last few years] yes she replied...I used one of my son's old lampshades for it [I presume she meant to get the shape for it]

We've been buying little jars of paste lately (bit of a whim on OH's part I think............I've been hanging on to the jars feeling they must be of use for something then the girlfriend of one of our ex foster lads called and happened to mention shed got no herbs and spices.............so, I;m going to buy a few each week, pop them in one of these little pots with a printed out label and that'll be her birthday present.
Still have empty twiglet box from Christmas that I'm trying to find a use for
Idea for anyone else who buys Cappacino in sachet form..........when the box is empty, cover it with images of some sort or some old wrapping paper, use a hole puncher at the top, thread though some coloured string, or whatever you like, and you have a gift bagMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Quite a few things there that I didn't know about especially the newspaper in the bottom of the fridge.
Now, where is that freebie newspaper (haven't bought one for months, tend to read them online instead!).0 -

Hi Bongedone,
That's a great link. I've added your post to the double duty thread so that it can be found easily.

Can anyone think of another use for a bread bin other than storing bread? It is the hoizontal flip-front kind.
Also, what about the little plastic canisters that spices come in?We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -

What about using the bread bin to store something else......like herbs and spices if you don't have a spice rack?
