i received a really generous gift of a spa day (worth £150) from my in-laws for christmas. however i have a 4 month old baby and although baby sitting has been arranged for that day, if he's ill or theres some other problem with him i wouldn't be able to go. unfortunately the spa's cancellation policy is 100% of cost, if the booking is changed or cancelled within 30 days of the date you are due to go.
does anyone know of a specific insurance policy i could get which would cover this? i think my regular travel insurance only covers breaks of 2 nights or more and this is only a one day thing. the spa itself doesn't offer insurance against cancellation.
thanks!

Insurance will probably cover you if taken ill but possibly not a 3rd party.
If you go on the day you would need to arrange someone to look after the baby anyway. So they may say you can still go.
You would need to ask a broker. Maybe there is a policy. It may not be cheap though.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
