For those that have used the European parks, how do they compare to the UK versions, are they easy to get to etc?
Breakfree are in the same company as Eurocamp and Keycamp, and they all use the same sites. They don't have their own caravans as far as I know, and we stayed in a Eurocamp one. I thought the facilities were fantastic, but each site is different. You really need a car to get to the one we went to. Our caravan for 4 for a week was just over £350,including linen and towels. It might seem pricy, but it's a lot cheaper than normal prices, which would have been about £800 when we went. You get your ferry fare included if you drive, but we're in Scotland, and prefer to fly and hire a car.I can't say how they compare to UK parks as I've never done this type of holiday in UK

Hi, does anyone know if it is only 1 booking per household? If not I wonders if you could do 2 x bookings to make it a longer break than 4 nts, we have done this with sun holidays in the past. Also, any recommendations for European parks? Many thanks
You book for a minimum of 4, and can make it longer on one booking in Europe. There's a fab range of parks (Eurocamp and Keycamp) in several countries. Just decide where you fancy going, and hunt for parks in that region.

I'm a newbie to newspaper holidays. Can I just check, if I wanted to book either the sun or daily mail offer I don't actually have to buy the papers, just check on here for the codes? Does anyone know if both papers use the same parks, so could maybe make up a weeks stay? Sorry for all the questions! And thanks

Sun and The Mail offer the majority of the parks but some can vary, codes are normally posted, but you may want to buy papers only for 5 days, as normally bonus code is given and site will be open on sunday, people will guess the last code. The sun paper normally you can't book online and have to wait for weeks for your location to come through and may get your last choice. The Mail is an online booking which you can choose date and area then pick your park and pay!!

You can have a week's stay by booking two holidays fri-mon and mon-fri whichever way you want it. You may need to specify when paying service change on the phone, that you want the same carvan for both dates, to save you been moved half-way through your holiday.

    Thanks

If anyone is going to help crack the code on sunday or whenever site opens, please quote my post.

We have booked through the daily mail for a few years, and I have always managed to get the codes from here and not bought any papers.
Last year we booked a fri-mon and then mon-fri so we were away for 7 nights. Definitely planning on doing the same this year. I will book the 4 night stay first then go back as quick as I can and book the friday to monday.
We have also booked more than one caravan for other family members and had no problems ringing and getting caravans together.

you have to book as a party of 4 unfortunately as your accommodation will cater for 4 people.

    Found this if it helps

This offer has full term and conditions, *£15 per person per break. Breaks are subject to a minimum of 4 people staying 3 or 4 nights. Compulsory service and entertainment pass charges may apply. A £2.80 online booking fee applies.

If i were you i would just book as a party of 4, you could try then ringing after and saying there is only 3 of you-i found them very helpfull last year when we had to add another party member last minute.

Does anyone know if Butlins is definitely included? I'm looking at the list of participating resorts, and one is called "Bognor Regis Resort". That's where one of the Butlins is, and on google it's referred to as "Butlins Bognor Regis Resort"... but i'm not sure

Yes Butlins is def included. You'll see Butlins Minehead and Butlins Bognor Regis but they are not shown as 'Butlins'. Went to Butlins Minehead last time. Upgraded to a silver apartment, well worth it.

We were upgraded earlier this year too, to a very new caravan and had paid the basic £10 per person fee. (even though it say's £15pp, quite often there is a £10 option)
