Hi I have collected all my charges through my online statements (hsbc)
I know it says to state what the charge was for etc, however most of my charges just say total charges and have the total.
I was wondering would I get a letter back off dear old Colin saying that I haven't put what the charges are for even though It doen't say on my online statements.

I'd just put in a brief paragraph to the effect that you cannot detail the charges further, because they were not detailed on your statements. Then you will have something to refer them back to, when (when, not if) they ask for further details or refuse the claim on the grounds of it being incomplete. Surely (I've told you before, don't call me Shirley) their records should show what they've charged for? No, stupid question ...The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.
