Yesterday went totally to plan - up, out, work, treadmill, swim, shower and home without opening my purse ;) checked my bank earlier today and no D/Debits had gone out either, so that took me to NSD #5.

No D/Debits for today either. So up, out, work, treadmill, PT session and home without opening my purse has given me NSD #6 :T

Have a funny feeling I'm due to see a D/Debit go out tomorrow though :(

Thought of a way around paying for my swimming lessons. The gym offers a 'cashless' system, which means I can load money onto my membership card and use that to pay for things. So if I load it with 5 weeks swimming lessons money when I pay my PT (done every 5 weeks) then I've already spent the money from my bank and don't have to count the day I pay for the lessons from my membership card ;)

  • Just dropping in during a hectic week and haven't had time to read all the posts but I see a lot of 10's and big figures around - well done.

I have had a spendy day, planned, as I had to pay for a term's language class and also took advantage of passing an Aldi to buy a few litres of longlife milk and bits of veg. in case we have bad weather. And a bottle of the vino tinto. Still, now 8 nsd and going to plan but I have a problem with this as I actually like planning and spending my money! Just can't resist a bargain.

NSD 8 for me, one of the men offered to buy me a drink, I politely refused saying I would not be able to recepicate, but he insisted. I had my slimline tonic stating I would not ask for a drink that I was not prepared to pay for myself, which he respected and said, "that was the mark of a true lady."

Had a lovely time catching up with old friends. A trip to the bank tomorrow to deposit my saving from today :j

Spent 99p today on a couple of vegetarian sausage rolls...BUT i am claiming today as a non spend day because the 99p comes out of the grocery budget and i keep that separate ...in my head that is! LOL!

    Hope you are all okay.

    NSD 8 today then!

Yay, another NSD for me! Though it was getting hard as I was starting to get bored of my lunches with no savoury snacks in. We did go food shopping this evening (Mr Shortie was in a bit of a panic as we are forecast mucho snow over the weekend and I've been running our stocks down recently, whoops!) but that was budgetted for so not classed as a spend, plus I now have some crisps to keep in my drawer at work, yay!

    So.... 7/20 for me ta!

  • Morning folks,

Up and getting ready for an extra day's work today. I'm out of the house from 9:30am to 8pm, which may make a NSD tricky. I am taking a packed lunch with extra snacky bits as that tends to be my downfall. I'll take lots of drinks and have a small collection of change that I can use to buy a coffee, if necessary. I've got plenty of work to keep me busy during the lulls in customers so I may just catch one!

I had a planned spend yesterday as we went out for lunch and I bought myself some much needed tops (bargains in the sale). I'm not worried about it as they were planned from a gift card I got for Christmas.

It's windy and looks like rain here today. It's very exciting!!! Have a super day everyone.
