A while ago i was thinking about setting up my own cleaning business, so i may go back to that idea, on top o this job, so that i can get WTC.
Need to start as from tomorrow

No NSDs for me since Monday. Gave in to temptation for a bacon roll at school yesterday and had to buy fruit today. Just been in to catch up on the gossip0 -

Awww, big hugs Beanie - oh carp, sorry, didn't mean to make you bust a water pipe again :grouphug: here have a dodgy MSE group hug - that'll make your eyes water  A good cry can be very theraputic xx
Well not a NSD today, fell into the B00ts Sale, OMG it's like the Next sale but with bubble bath :eek: By the sound of things my local store wasn't too bad but I was in before 9am, popped back through at 12.30pm and the shelves were nearly bare - and at 9am there'd been 1/2 an aisle at leave of the S&G sets. The sheer greed of some people is disgusting - sure, buy it if you're going to use it / gift it, but its the people that buy stuff to sell on and prevent others who can't get to store at opening time, or otherwise afford the items from being able to buy any of it that really makes me sick. Still, they say what goes around comes around.
I picked up a couple of lovely little pj / hot water bottle cases for my friends girls at Xmas, a S&G set ( ONLY ONE..for ME - and I might on-gift any bits I'm not going to use as its 9 full size products - is that cheap of me?) and a few bits that I think my mum might want to give as gifts. Oh and one of those handbag jewel things to hang your bag off a table / bar with. In total spent £43 and saved £120 but 1/2 of that is DM :A
Also went to sainsbobs to get a few essentials for OH who is really suffering with the lurgi bless himand Sports Direct for a new pair of headphones for the princely sum of £2.59 (on of the ears has gone on my current pair and the ear bud bit is embossed and actually is quite painful after a period of wear).
Oh goodness...I really have fallen off the wagon today:o:o
Big hugs to all those under the weather xxFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

NSD8 please!
Just out of curiosity, how do you count joint spends if you have joint accounts? All our money is rolled into one account. So it doesn't really matter if I do the grocery shop or if DH does, or if I'm the one to pick up new shoes for DD1 or he is, etc.
Personally, I don't count it as a spend day if DH buys his lunch or some new shirts or something for him, because that's his decision and not mine. I do count spends that are for me, or which I physically hand over the money for.
But, for example, yesterday after we'd put the girls to bed, he decided he didn't fancy the dinner I'd planned (pre-cooked and frozen, so not a waste to change his mind) and went out to the shops to buy an ingredient for something else. It could just have easily been me that popped to the shop while he finished cleaning the kitchen. So it's a NSD for me, but the same amount of money came out of the account. I'm counting it (as a no-spend) because left to my own devices I wouldn't have bothered, I'd have just eaten the thing I already cooked.
It works for me, but I'm nosy, so how do you lot count these sorts of things? If you and your partner go out for lunch and he hands over the cash but it's from a joint account, or something like that?MFW diary here. 1 Feb 2017 $229,371 - MFD Feb 2043  aiming for May 2028

Good evening everyone
Thought I was going to get a NSD today but I checked my bank account when I got home and my Cable TV DD has been taken so that drew a line under that!
As my NSD had been lost I decided to do my online grocery shop at Mr Ts, will save a SD over the weekend hopefully. My shop did however take about 3.5 hours!!! Meal planning, do I need this, can I get a cheaper brand ..... I know I did well and saved myself some money but really, 3.5 hours! Oh well, I would only have been ironing so I won't beat myself up lol.
Hope you are all wrapped up and keeping warm, catch up tomorrow.Sealed Pot Challenge 6 - Member 1938
