Morning all!
Woke up to a couple of cm's of snow here. I went out to scrape off the car (because frozen snow is a !!!!!! the next day!), and pretty much the minute I got back inside, it started snowing again. Has been snowing quite heavily here for about an hour now.
I've been busy emailing around local schools, offering my services as a supply teacher. Going through an agency hasn't given me a great deal, so I thought I'd try approaching schools direct. I have a list of about 15 schools within a 3 mile radius of me! I never knew there were so many, and lots I hadn't even heard of!
Not really sure what the etiquette is for supply teachers contacting schools direct... so I've only done 5 so far... Will do some more tomorrow!
Anyway, while I'm here I'll go ahead and declare NSD9. Pretty sure I'm not going to venture to the shops today!Because it's fun to have money!

Yep, we've got snow too - I hate living on a hill sometimes!
I am happy to declare as my lovely mum bought me lunch on Saturday, that's NSD 3 for January
As my MOT was nearly £500, trying to get a few more NSD's in now

we have a nice sprinkling of snow here - loks really pretty.
I'm declaring today NSD 7' even though it's onlay midday for the simple reason that it is so cold outside that there is now way I am going outside again.
I walked the dog and now I'm going to clean the house to build up a bit of warmth!Trying to keep in budget.

Hi guys. Sorry but it's just a quick one from me today. I think I'm now up to 8/150

11 NSD here. I did have to go to the high street to the bank, to take money out to put in a different account but I kept my head down and walked, not looking in the shops, the cake shop the worst. I also over paid at school for milk money last week so I didn't need to pay this week. Have to do that more often.0

Snow, snow and more snow means Number 6 NSD
in the Cauldron of Doom!
(Igor, you are going to need more than 6 turnips for the Burns Night bash, with a hundred and twenty-odd (very odd!) NSD gang members sitting down to eat. See this spade? See that field over there, behind the gardens of Chateau Nargle? It's full of turnips. Get digging!)

and another spendy day for me.
Went to Mr T after the gym so I could get fruit and veg for the week. Also picked up milk for DS (3 x 2litre of their own Pure one as it's on a '3 for £3.50' offer and DS is especially partial to Cr@vendale which this is the equivalent of - dated 7th Feb, so will definitely be used by then), some G0 Ahe@d fruit slices (on offer at £1, so I got 6 packs which will do me 10 weeks if I take an 'inner' with me every working day) and washing up liquid (also on offer).
Total spend was £16.50, so actually only spent £6 on f&v. Happy with that, as I really shouldn't need anything else until the weekend (when I reckon I'll need veg for Saturday). Will check bank on Thur/Fri to see a D/Debit's gone out, and if it has I'll try and pick up anything for the weekend then in an attempt to claw Saturday back as another NSD
Debated buying liquid gold today, but decided I've enough in the tank to last until next Monday - as long as I don't get stuck in bad standing traffic for any length of time. So I'll keep a close eye on my gauge, but don't plan to spend on that this week.....Cheryl0
