Second hand car choice.
I have been looking for ages about getting a newer car. I currently have a 3 door Fiat punto 1.2. I would like something a bit bigger and newer.
I was originally looking at getting a 2009 honda Jazz spending around £6-7K. I also really like the new Fiesta, they look really good but were a bit expensive for my budget.
But I feel that might be a better idea to spend a bit less on a car so was thinking of just spending about £4 -5K and going for something slightly older.
So what does anyone suggest. Are the older Honda jazz any good? I have read some reports online that say they get a bit expensive to maintain after 5 years.
So any ideas? Just want something reliable and wont cost me much in the long run.

I've not known anyone been 100% happy with a Jazz. Other Honda's yes.
As a rule for buying an older car, I say look around, what models do you still see going for say, 5 years older than the cars you are looking at, VW's, Audi's, some Vauxhalls and BMW's.
Daughters first car was a VW Polo 1.4 T reg with 90,000 on the clock, still going strong at 130,000 miles and 5 years later. VW and BMW pride themselves in always having parts available for their older models.0
