    im not looking to win points!

    as it stands, i have two credit cards, none carry debt, i use them both each month and pay them off!

    as far as i can see, in two years time, if a lender can see iv had two lines of credit with healthy credit limits and never abused them, surly that has got to be a good thing?

    i dont know how it all works inside out, but i know having no credit history is a bad thing!

    all i am asking is what other people have experienced with capital one when they have seen that message, its not a big deal...

    i just know i'd rather have that security deposit sitting in my savings account than there acc earning no interest!

    and for the people waiting to reply saying "you wont earn much interest on £49" ... i know, but id rather have my own money in my own account.
