Boiler sevicing

I am debating getting our boiler serviced in the next couple of months as the warranty runs out in March and I thought this way if anything needs fixing it will get done under the warranty. Is it best to get it done via Scottish Power who are our supplier or to go through someone else?
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks

have you had it serviced every year, because if you haven't then the warranty is void anyway.I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

We only moved in in April, and were given the warranty paperwork by the previous owners so I don't know if they had it serviced regularly or not....
Is there any way I can check do you know?

you should have a service record either in the MI or a seperate blue covered book with benchmark on the front, a boiler is no different to a new car they both req a yearly service with proof, they won't cover the warrenty as they will just say the boiler hasn't been maintained, this isn't one boiler manifacturer every single one is the same, which is how some of them get out of repairing the boilerI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

The guy who services my Mum's puts a sticker on the boiler casing and completes the service record in the Benchmark documentation.
Why would you ask your gas supplier to service your boiler? Would you ask Esso to service your car? Get quotes from a couple of local independent GSR RGI's.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
