No idea but a quick call to NW to ask the cost and a visit to gocompare etc should give you a better answer.
Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.

Hi I paid £20 to upgrade the policy to worldwide in February for a joint account if that helps.

They quoted £20 to upgrade me to worldwide cover.
  • £20 to upgrade to worldwide for a year, has to include USA, they don't offer an option without it.

For info, also £20 to upgrade to family cover.

Husband has been treated for cancer last year (op but no further treatment) and we paid £80 extra for this for the year on top of the £20 so £100 all in if that helps.

That was something I asked, apparently they don't, but can if you ask them to auto renew it. I didn't, they said they'll write to me about a month before it expires to see if I want to renew.

That's odd - we had the same situation, and he also is on blood pressure tablets. but they didn't add anything extra to the cost (we added winter sports to our policy, and the quote was the same with the medical declaration as it was without).
Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!

    You don't have same situation.

Blood pressure that is controlled by tablets is quite a different situation!
