DoI have to wait?

After receiving statements, I have asked my bank to refund all overdraught charges and on 30th Mar received a letter from them to say that by law they had 4 weeks to check the accuracy of my claim. Can any one tell me if I now have to wait until 30th Apr or can I now approach them?
